Purvesh has led landmark projects including the upgradation of security systems for 31 stadia for a European football federation, surveillance upgradation for one of the largest airports in India, and control room designs for the largest stock exchange of India and a large banking regulator. He has been part of the security framework design for the pan India branches of a new bank, including its disaster and crisis management plans, led the security upgradation of an oil and gas major across more than 25 truck terminals, and led the access control part of the ticketing systems for a MEGA Metro Line, with work spanning critical infrastructure, utilities, automobile, real estate, consumer goods, healthcare and manufacturing. He has conducted over 100 training sessions on security risk, crisis and disaster management. He is an ASIS Certified Protection Professional (CPP®) and Professional Certified Investigator (PCI®), two of the highest professional credentials in the global security industry, and holds a Post Graduate Certificate in Business Management from IIM Calcutta, along with a Bachelor of Law. His earlier career included command-level security roles in the Indian Army, threat and regulatory operations with the Department of Atomic Energy, and integrated security for an 11 MMTPA petrochemical refinery complex. Within this programme, Capt. Prabhu is the architect of the OODA-DECIDE, LEAP-VEST and TONE behavioural frameworks, designed to address the 3 to 5 second decision window before protocol fully applies. As Head of Retail Banking for Abu Dhabi Commercial Bank India, he introduced major changes in retail product offerings, internet banking, customer profiling and joint offerings with the UAE for NR customers, taking CASA to a 35% share of the retail portfolio. He set up Central Operations at ADCB India, spanning central processing, corporate banking, trade, treasury and retail asset operations, and set up the Credit Mid-Office at Dhanlaxmi Bank. He was part of the team that brought the merged structure at ICICI Bank, set up foreign offices under International Banking Business to cater to NRI customers, and handled business and people management during the merger of Bank of Madura with ICICI Bank. Part of the Train-the-Trainer group at ICICI Bank, he has trained and created more than 500 trainers in behavioural aspects for branch banking teams, and has consulted on process and policy formation for large private sector banks.
